Concierge Event Solutions

 Welcome to In Your Pocket

Events bring us together to collaborate, to build community and to create shared experiences. We believe that life is easiest when the people in your organization can focus on their jobs, and we know that, all too frequently, corporate events are thrust upon people who still have to maintain their day to day workflows. This creates additional stress. Maybe you’d love to have one person or one team in-house who are exclusively dedicated to making events happen. However, if your organization is like most, this doesn’t make fiscal sense unless you have a jam-packed event calendar. Allow us to help.

In Your Pocket is based in Dallas, but we can (and do!) work anywhere. We’re selective when it comes to who we work with. We want to show off our clients in the best light possible and ensure that we have the resources to make your event memorable and impactful. We begin with a conversation to determine the scope and budget of the project; following this, you’ll receive a proposal outlining costs both for our work and any bids from outside vendors, travel costs, etc. If all are in agreement, we’re off to the races - and in your pocket the whole way.

At In Your Pocket, we’ll work with you to meet your budgetary goals. We’ve worked on both a per-project basis and an hourly basis. Our experience has taught us that there’s not one correct across-the-board solution for all clients, so we get creative.

If In Your Pocket sounds like a partner you’d like to learn more about, we’d love to hear from you! Please shoot us a note here - we can’t wait to chat!

Our Founder

Founder and CEO Mary Higbe has a long history of creating successful experiences. She can be counted on to not just have a Plan B - she’ll have all the way through a Plan H. She’s been complimented many times on keeping calm when it appears a crisis is looming (remember, there’s a Plan H!) and focuses on cultivating strong personal and professional relationships.

The phrase “In Your Pocket” has a personal attachment for Mary as well. As mentioned, Mary focuses on building strong relationships and thrives on her “girl gang”: a group of smart, diverse women she’s fortunate to call friends. Years ago, when one friend was going through a hard time, another woman messaged the group and just said “hey - you’ve got us. We’re your cheerleaders, and we believe in you. You’ve got us in your pocket.” It’s now shortened to a quick “IYP!”, but the sentiment remains the same: they’re there for each other. Mary carries this into her professional life by working with vendors and contractors who share the same spirit. She puts a high level of trust in these people and is honored not only to work with them, but to call them friends.

Philanthropy

The Latin Serviam translates to “I will serve”. This is the motto of Ursuline Academy of Dallas, of which Mary is an alumna. In Your Pocket is dedicated to serving and giving back to the community, with a goal of using up to 10% of each year’s profits towards producing an event with a nonprofit that’s focused on empowering women and children.
